GRAPHIC DESIGNER | ARTIST | SURFACE DESIGNER
Hello, I’m Patti Mitchell, a graphic designer, illustrator, and surface pattern designer based in Madison, Mississippi. As a freelance graphic designer, I partner with business owners, marketing departments, and in-house designers to create engaging, innovative digital and print designs for clients across a wide range of industries.
I manage all stages of the design process, from concept development through final production, creating promotional and marketing materials such as publications, brochures, catalogs, logos, websites, social media graphics, and other special projects. I also have experience collaborating with printers, photographers, copywriters, and creative teams to produce effective marketing collateral.
More recently, I discovered surface pattern design and have devoted much of my free time to developing and refining this new creative direction. I am currently designing collections for licensing. Inspired by nature, I enjoy reimagining traditional motifs with a modern, feminine touch. All of my designs are hand-drawn using a variety of techniques, including sketching, watercolor, photography, and foraged natural elements that are scanned and digitized in Adobe Illustrator.
Outside of work, I am married and have two grown sons and a daughter-in-law. In my free time, I enjoy a variety of creative pursuits, including photography, drawing, painting, gardening, and traveling
